A “born-again” Colorado Native, Dr. McDaneld grew up on the Front Range and quickly fell in love with the prairie and desert landscapes of Colorado. She graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 and has since practiced in Denver and Portland, Oregon. She moved to Grand Junction in the winter of 2001 and immediately fell in love with the area.
Her first and enduring passion has always been Veterinary Medicine. Dr. McDaneld not only enjoys the patients, but appreciates the deep bond they share with their human families. Her dog Spacey was adopted from the Dumb Friends League in Denver, and she has a special place in her heart for mutts and shelter animals.
Dr. McDaneld is often found rafting with her husband and two small boys, in addition to hiking, camping, and gardening. Spacey does not enjoy rafting, but is often along for any other activities!
